Pastor Phil & Norma Mortensen

I am a 1974 graduate of Fort Wayne Bible College, and in 1989 I received my master’s degree from Huntington College.  I have enjoyed urban ministry in Fort Wayne since 1971.  The inner-city community needs examples of discipline and Christ-like character.  I believe God has used my willingness to complete my education to encourage some of our people in their own pursuit of education. 

 

God has also supplied Christians from over 100 different church congregations to support us in our efforts to show Christ’s love to the poor and needy.  We simply cannot do what we do without a lot of concerned people motivated to help us by the love of Jesus Christ and His Word.

 

God has given us a wonderful church family at Love Church and a real love for needy and hurting people in Fort Wayne,.
