| YOU CAN BE AN URBAN MISSIONARY |
Have you ever considered being
a missionary in your own city? Through the
ministry of Love Church, you can experience
being a missionary to the needy people of Fort Wayne’s inner city.
As Christians, we have a Biblical mandate to help
the poor and needy through Christ’s love. According to Luke 4:18, the
first ministry priority of Jesus was to, “preach the gospel to the poor…”
According to Matthew 25, every Christian is responsible to show Christ’s
love to “the least of these.”
Fulfilling this call of Christ through urban
ministry takes love, energy and the willingness to cross over cultural
boundaries; it is an exciting challenge! Hundreds of people have
profited from being involved in personal ministries through Love Church.
This invitation presents a new opportunity for you to join them in
fulfilling the call of Christ. During your thirteen weeks as an urban
missionary you will have a chance to gain hands-on experience while sharing
God’s love in tangible ways.
